It took the doctor four or so tries to get it out. He used a long, thin pair of forceps. No damage to the eardrum, but I guess there was a decent amount of blood from scratches inside the ear. Steve said that the suction was pretty intense when it finally came out, so I doubt we could've gotten it with tweezers. I was going to buy him an ice cream cone for being such a brave lil' trooper, but Mitchell's was closed.
The ER copay was a hundred bucks, but the lady at registration was nice and let Steve skip to the front of the line when she heard we were on a tight schedule. I remembered afterwards that I have a tool that might've done the trick (it's a plastic tube with a plunger that pushes spring-loaded wire grabby things out), so I think we'll be ready next time.

Like the Totall Recall bug grabber thing? Also- I would swear I know you from somewhere but I can't remember where... FNF?
