1.66 GHz Intel Core Duo > 1.50 GHz G4

For realz.

Next step: Parallels on here. Though I'm still kinda disappointed that Parallels can't boot Nextena or Solaris 10 (Express). Makes me look forward to VMWare on OS X because I've never had any problems with VMWare laying the smack down.

I've read that too, which is why I put (Express) after "Solaris 10" in my post.... I'm assuming there's some reason why the official Solaris 10 makes it far enough to do the things he described, whereas mine won't even boot, even w/ all the Parallels acceleration options disabled.

I'd figured out the DMA thing, but not the CD-ROM part. Thanks!

I'm making lots of progress now, and snapshotting my image often in case I destroy it again (like I already have a dozen times today).

I'm not going for X, though, just remote ssh.
