Denon AVR-4806 -- notably the back and HDMI switching/upconverting... useful for only running one long HDMI cable back to projector, but plugging everything else up up-front. the front isn't so interesting.
HTD 12-channel amp -- archived pic. like twice as cheap as all the other stuff I had previously found, but anything should do fine... just wall speakers.
Blackalicious @Berkeley -- aka how many people can you have open for you and then get onto the stage during the finale. yay hiphop concerts. but blackalicious was good.
MySQL User's Conference 2006 ... did a panel today on scaling out. no slides. just talked. way easier prep/stress than slides. :-)
