Movie Madness! 2006
The nominations are in, and the top 16 nominations are in the brackets! Movies stir up a range of emotions within us, and the ones that stick with us and take a piece of our hearts are those that we will most desire to see recognized among films. In this bracket game, we get the opportunity to boost our favorites and make them shine!

NOTE: Because it was a close run-off for the Drama Division, separating the top three by only one vote each, I chose Casablanca over The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring to provide variety since another of the LOTR films was already in the brackets.
Remember that even if you have not seen one or both of the films in a match-up, you are welcome to vote for either film you feel is most worthy.
Polls will be posted at a specified time designated in the previous poll post, and will be between 12 PM and 6 PM EDST (New York/Atlanta) each day. The "winner" of each poll is determined at the moment the next poll is posted. Close matches may be extended for an extra 1-2 days.

Rerun Division: Round One poll for both pairings posted May 23

Subsequent rounds will follow with new pairings each day from May 26 through June 3.
The final game will start June 3 with the ultimate winner determined the afternoon of June 5.
