Big hole in my pocket (Credit Card)
It was Matt's BD a few days ago.
So I'm still on MC anyway, and we went out to celebrate the event.
The night before, we went to buy a large Swenson's cake for him, and along with some food from Mac.
Sang him the birthday song at 12mn.
In the morning, we woke up and he went home first to change.
Saying he's going back to change into his birthday suit. To which i totally burst into laughter.
So we met at the gym later, and he complained that the person announced that it was his birthday.
Sidetrack, I'm finally seeing some results from the gym after 6 months. But Matt is seeing more results. Darn. Shouldnt have paid for his gym membership.
So Matt wanted to get a good haircut.
So we went salon-hunting.
Went to Hereen Toni and Guys but the place was full, then we went to Ngee Ann City, but Le Salon was really too expensive at 179 for a creative stylist. So Matt tot he rather pay Ben at Passion for that price.
So off to Passion we went.
And of cos, I was persuaded to get a haircut too, but I chose a senior stylist only. Which was $89 still.
Compared to Matt's "Ben Leong" who cost $149. (Dunno if I got the spelling correct.)
But then Matt was very upset because he tot his hair was cut too short and dun think it's worth 149.
Oh well.
Saw Julian Hee there also, but then I couldnt care less. Only Matt noticed him.
So we scrape the dinner plans at Crystal Jade Golden Palace as Matt felt guilty I had to pay so much for his haircut, and with unsatisfactory results. ( I tot it was ok bah.)
So no more Peking duck for me liao.
Thus, we went to 'traded down" to Tonkichi at Shaw house, and the bill still came up to $75.
Cos he still ordered alot. *Knock head*
Then home to rest cos he needed to work the next day.
Conclusion, the leftover Swenson's cake is still in my fridge. Maybe we should have gotta a smaller one.
And I'm waiting for my bill on my credit card. Plus all the installments for previous items.
