watch yer step...or your turning lane

So, yesterday my friend Ryan was riding her bike, just going alone, probably humming a nice little Rancid song since she had just gotten it fixed. And then, douchebag-in-truck decides to not look where he's turning, so while she had the right of way, she got hit by a car. I could recount this in a slightly exaggerated way, but all you really need to know is that she ate his brains. Fortunately, she's doing okay, considering she was HIT BY A CAR...broken nose, fractured wrist, chipped teeth...but she'll be fine.

Moral of story is, please be careful, whether you're in a car or on a bike or walking or what. Just always be aware, because this guy wasn't, and a very un-cool thing happened.
