Not another Marco!
Ahhh it never ceases to amaze me how helpful computer communication can congregate my community. Last night I was reunited with my old friend Marco Pinto whome I had not heard from in over a year! Having isolated himself to an apartment in newmarket (god knows why) he pretty much fell off the friend radar.
Sometimes it can be pretty easy to forget about friends, not to avoid them or something intentional but simply to excuse thier absence from your life as a natural part of "moving on" or "ending a phase in your life." But from time to time its nice to be reminded of the past. The friends we surround ourselves with help shape us as people. We become members of a group entity with varying mind and spirit.
I believe that the ones we hold close are most important becuase it takes intent and effort to maintain those connections. In doing so we find reason to support them and grow as people with them.
Thankful does not begin to describe the way i feel about those friends in my life right now. but before i get into the mushy pushy, I'm late for work! later loves!
