[day three, 7AM][announcements] DAY THREE: START
The morning was dark and cloudy, the air humid and pregnant with rain that would not fall. The cheery pop fanfare that played over the loudspeakers seemed somehow muted against the heavy mood of the weather, and presumably of the few remaining boys lucky(?) enough to still be alive.
"Hey guys," Horio Junpei greeted, voice somewhat less perky than before. "I wasn't sure what to think, but you guys came through, did a good job yesterday. --Sorry I'm late," he added, seemingly as an afterthought.
"Um, anyway, a lot of people died yesterday--and that's a good thing! But, uh, it'd take a long time to list them, so I'm just gonna read off the life list:

Boy #11, Hiyoshi Wakashi
Boy #17, Kaneda Ichirou
Boy #24, Marui Bunta
Boy #25, Mizuki Hajime

"If you aren't on that list, then you're dead, sorry. Uh, rest in peace or whatever. If you are on the list, it's time to figure out who's gonna be the one winner, okay? ...Please make it just one winner, I'm kind of in trouble already and if I have to blow everyone up then--it's just not good for me, okay?
"Oh, and to make it easier to find each other, everywhere is a dangerzone but C5 and C6. See you there, okay?"
A muffled pause, as if the mic was being covered for a bit. "...Anyway, home stretch, guys! Good luck!" A squeal of microphone feedback, and then silence.
