How to define true love?
I confess my view of love is a little biased by the romantic authors from the beginning of the 20th Century. In my stories, I tend to make my characters too willing to sacrifice everything in the name of love and I suffer when I have to follow a romance where one of them have purely shallow feelings.
Love, in my belief, is donation, is the eager need to protect and care for someone. Not that I believe it to be an easy thing to do, actually, the harder the stronger a love will grow.
Maybe this is just my selfish wish to be loved in such extent, but, anyway, I think it makes a great novel!
In a translation, what my character - Akira, from Chained Hearts - says is "I have devoted my life to Jacques. Don't you believe such a deep love deserves any affection in return?"
And that's my baby! My book which will start selling on September 1st! Unfortunately, for now, there is only the Portuguese version available, but soon I will upload the English version at Wattpad and the book will also be sold in this Language.
