people, including myself can judge so quickly
im not surprised when i see people go to church on sunday and be happy and during the week do their own thing... or as many people would
call it, act as if they arent christian at all. first of all, how can i look at ONE person and say that because they are doing something
bad, that they are not "real christians" or even "genuinely changed" because of it? the fact is that were all human and we all struggle
in one way or another. the message of the bible is not even that when you become christian you become perfect. it is that God is perfect,
and were not. we all mess up and its not a reason to bash on christians for. living totally hypocritical lives? i truly believe in my heart
that lieing to my parents is a sin, but i struggle with that anyway so i can get out on friday nights (sound like anyone you know?)
im not trying to convince people to start going to church, but
suggesting that if you want the truth, look and find it for yourself! dont be satisfied with what you hear or what things seem to be. i
currently do not even know where i stand on religion, on life, but it is beside the point. my goal this year is to be as open as i can be
to every idea, whether it is radical or has always been accepted by the common man. after the mock con today, i just changed my viewpoint
on gay marriages! who wants to believe in something because the
common man believes in it? my goal is, that if someone asks me to go to a buddhist temple or a mosque, i will go with them and check it
out. surriously, what is belief if u dont know why you believe?
a call to seek "truth" with an open heart.
