Sonnet

Just thought yall would like to read Benita and I's kick ass sonnet that we had to write in class for Bonomo. I've been trying to get it up since like Monday but I've been way too busy with that stupid ass glossary project again for Bonomo. Anyways here it is:

I thought we had something special tonight
That interlocking moment, a true kiss
We were sitting silent under the moonlight
I was all too sure that it was sheer bliss
I never knew it would end in such pain
You left me standing alone, it broke my heart
Soon after, it began to pour down rain
The throbbing paint shot through me like a dart
The pure evil that is involved with love
Almost certain to always end in hate
Reality will give you a good shove
Oh, star-crossed, miserable, deadly fate
Should I have seen the deceit in your eyes
How could you possibly tell me such lies?

Is it not awesome? We think it is! Leave it bitches!
