birthday recap.
yesterday, march 13, 2006 i turned eighteen.
i woke up to my dog jumping around on my bed.
and my mother screaming "give shannon birthday kisses".
my dad came into my room waving his arms around.
and using a girly voice along with prancing around saying,
"it's shannons birthday! it's shannons birthday!"
i spilled coffee on me.
changed.
picked up Kyle and he gave me a card.
we picked up Matt and he said happy birthday, it was cute.
then we picked up Colleen.
who had a birthday cake, starbursts and a balloon for me.
because she's adorable.
ran down the hallway to get to homeroom.
Cate stopped to give me my present :)
i walked into homeroom late.
found a picture of me kissing laura on a poster on my locker that said happy birthday.
mandy gave me a picture with a unicorn on it.
and quotes.
one being "ride that donkey, donkey!"
naturally.
Kristin gave me her tiara to wear for the day. :)
i went to spanish.
spilled coffee.
oops.
walked into drawing and painting to Jenna, Cate and Laura.
saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANNON!"
it was cute.
i had english.
dr. mongeon made me read the part of the Queen in Hamlet.
mandy thought it was funny until she had to be the Priest.
HA.
we left school because it was a half day.
i went to laura's car to get my present from her and Jessica
it was a build a bear named Prince Charming.
dressed in prince gear.
equipped with make out mints.
and a hooker lolipop.
i loved it.
i dropped everyone home.
got my work clothes and went to Lauras.
she made me Ramen.
Mike and Mandy came over :) :) :)
Mike and Kristin made me FABULOUS cards.
we had "group feeding" with Ramen and the brownie cake.
so funny.
got laura's cat's high off cat nip.
HILARIOUS.
played uno :) & made Mike lose.
Mitch joined us :) !!!
he ate some of our brownie cake.
we played uno.
Mitch won.
Mike lost.
Junior came over.
I left for work.
Mike went home & so did Mitch.
i worked.
Kristin, Mandy, Junior, Adam, and Laura came to visit me.
Kristin made me a build a bear duck named "duck" with THREE hearts inside of it.
SO SOFT.
Mandy got me a unicorn pen.& sunglasses :)
they left.
Lauren and Bobby brought me cake with soccer players stuffed into it.
it was funny. :)
i went home. went out to eat with my family.
my parents got me gold earrings and a gold necklace.
the necklace says "live, love, laugh"
i love it.
Mike surprised me and called me last night.
it made me smile. a lot.
so basically my birthday was amazing.
and my friends are the most amazing people in the entire world.

birthday wishes aren't as bogus as i thought they were.
sometimes they come true.
