today i got a phone call from Diane at Wheelock. she left a voicemail on my cell phone saying I had been accepted to Wheelock and that i should be expecting a package with all the information and official letter in about two days. Wheelock was my reach school and I got in. i may not go there necessarily but the fact i worked so hard to get into college, and do well is such a rewarding feeling. i cried. i was happy. my parents were so proud. my dad confronted me to tell me how happy he was about me being accepted to my reach school. that was a good feeling since my dad and i don't talk often.
