Trent Reznor has made more than just songs for Year Zero, the new Nine Inch Nails record. There's a whole world to explore before Year Zero comes out on April 17th. Trent has said that the CD is the soundtrack to a movie that doesn't exist: instead of a movie, we get websites full of terrifying what-ifs about the future. We love it! Check it out....

I like the word mailstrom. It's a play on maelstrom, which literally means violent whirlpool, or one very turbulent scenario. The Mailstrom disrupts the government's online information system and hopes to catch stray e-mails in the process. There's login information if you click on the center graphic, and it leads to an intercepted e-mail between two members of a formative resistance group.

If you’re sharp, you’ll find a phone number. If you’re not easily freaked out, you should call it.
