Shodan and all that
On Saturday, I practiced Iaido and tested for shodan (1st degree black belt). I felt like my test went well and the judges agreed (5/5 passed). I can recall a couple of mistakes, but each was more like "here is something I am trying to improve" and not "oh shoot, I wasn't supposed to do that".
And then in the evening, Vickie and I (along with many others) went to the Brad Paisley concert. I enjoyed myself, especially seeing her enjoying the concert. I knew most of the songs thanks to her efforts. And then I was finally home asleep by 1am.
On Sunday, it rained just in time to postpone our engagement photo shoot. But it gave us plenty of time to get other things done.
Less than 7 weeks....
