After much wrangling, I tracked the computer problem to a known bug. Now I just have to wait for the developers to fix it.
Iaido went really well last night. I could tell that I had been gone a week, but somehow I was actually doing better than before I left. We just worked on 1 - 4, and I really need to start learning their names. Oh well, in another year I might be ready for the first tests and then I'll need to know. Until then, I'll keep watching and learning all that I can. As the day goes on, my muscles have been reminding me that I had a week off.
More meetings today, which I also think will go well like yesterday's did.
