Due to popular (1) request, here are the first pics of my mandolin build project. I call it the eMando (electric Mandolin). Enjoy!
It started out looking like this:

Eventually it will look like this:
The difference in color between the first two is due mainly to lighting. The wood looks closer in color to the second pic, but the sawdust is orange-y like the first pic!
That last one is a rendering from the CAD program I use to visualize all of my guitar related ideas. Hopefully it will look close to that!
