I don't know how I've missed this scent company for so long. Smells are huge to me and I'm really looking forward to this new drain on what little soul and money I had left after discovering World of Warcraft. Which brings me to my plea - it's going to be a bit pricey and take a bit longer to ship to New Zealand, so while I wait for the shipping estimate to get back to me, I'm sitting and ruminating over what to put in my 6-pack of imps' ears. I can use all the help anyone has to give.

Here are some scents I really love - rich fruitiness like Love Spell - I know every 14 year old wears it, but I'm shameless in my devotion; desert-y, spicy smells with things like amber, sandalwood, spices and sage, more round and full than thick, no excessive musk; my house rabbit's feet when he's been digging in sweet hay (I smell my rabbit's feet, shut up); islandy, smooth smells like frangipani and monoi oil; that Woodspice organic deodorant from Tom's of Maine; jasmine hedges warm from soaking up the sun all day; fresh workshop sawdust, especially oak. I also like the way the library smells, especially the part with the old leather chairs and the high windows filtering dusty sun in on dustier books, but I'm thinking that's not a good perfume smell.

Here are some scents I really hate and smell awful on me - almost anything by Calvin Klein, especially that Happy and Cool Vomitous Waterfall junk people were really big on in the late 90s; juniper, coriander, similar smells to both of these; fake-smelling vanilla that always smells bitter and choking on my skin like the Victoria's Secret vanilla scent (although I love cooking vanilla); floral air freshener; "new car" smell (ugh); a vast array of brand-name perfumes that claim to smell like "rose" or "water" and smell like warmed-over potpourri dust and a new beach ball, respectively. Oh, and banana. Don't know why.

Here's my brief and tentative list -

Titania (for daytime, and springtime, and pick-me-ups)
Port Royal (for those times I find myself hankering for a houseboat and/or Depp's butt)
The Hesperides (torn between this and Delight, not sure, but want a growing scent)
Arabian Nights (the description just sounded perfect) Not available - replaced with Coyote
Snake Oil (I'll try anything popular once; hey, I have a Britney Spears mp3)
Mme Moriarty (torn between this and Moon Rose - one sounds like a good date scent and the other is called Moon Rose, how much better can you get? Like are they ASKING me to climb out my second-story window at midnight in my white muslin nightgown to meet my destiny in a wooded meadow, or what?!)(Looks like it's Moon Rose, the Moriarty is not available in samples.

If anyone has opinions on or reviews of these scents and would be willing to share, or has a suggestion of something I might like better, I'd be very grateful. I couldn't figure out how to search for reviews of a particular scent and went back about 6 pages before giving up.
