I am not a moderator of this community, but I'm standing here as someone who loves this community a very great deal. I love the things we do and that we stand for. I love the things we talk about and value the things we don't talk about.

Let's squee and support each other, not be a cesspool of drama. We need your help to do that. First, don't drag drama from another community tobpalanonymous.Yes, frustrating things happen. Yes, we'd like to put people's eyes out but that's something that ought to be addressed in that community or in our personal livejournals. Rabble rousing in bpalanonymous to gain support for or dislike of a subject/person is not acceptable.

We're all grown ups here. Don't pick fights. Try to be civil. This means that if you think someone is making a snarky comment, politely ask them if that's what they mean. The written word does not easily convey tone and facial expression unless it's some sort of post-modern "painting" so, please give people the benefit of the doubt. We can do mutual respect.
Why are we sitting here in what is supposed to be a drama-free community stirring up drama with both hands, flinging it about like monkeys flinging poo at the zoo? We are all supposed to be adults here. Did we all forget that the people on the other side of this monitor are human? That means you, that means me, that means everyone. No, I don't know what happened. No, I do not want to know what happened--period. We are NAME-CALLING. We are making public accusations. We are doing all the very things that this community was supposed to be able to rise above doing. This all just makes me so sad --I'm not trying to chastise anyone here, I'm trying to remind us all that we can do better than this.
Imagine me in my crazy cheerleader outfit when I say this to you: We are better than this. This community is stronger than this. We are all as individuals worth of something better than collapsing into drama like any other virtual community.
Let's stop fueling the drama. Go out today and do something altruistic. Give something away. Pat someone on the back. Listen to a friend in need. Give someone a hug.
