What Happened?!
When I first got Shub, I was like, oh, this is quite nice, gingery, yes, and put it in my imp box to keep more because it has meaning to me than because of the smell. And I was rather pleased about that, because I hadn't wanted it to be a disappointment, but was worried that i would love it and I can't afford it.
And then, the other day, I tried it again.
Oh. My. God. I don't remember it being like this?! Gingery creamy incensey slightly vanilla-y smoky wonderful LOVE. What the hell is going on?! This isn't the kind of scent I like! Obviously Shub-Niggurath herself has warped my mind in some way. But mmmmmincenseyfoodymusteatarm! I think it's that combination of foody-but-not-too-sweet and incense that I love in Tezcatlipoca that's making me so crazy about this.
My coworker said at one point during the day, "It's driving me crazy, there's this *delicious* smell in here, like Asian cooking, I can't work it out...can anyone else smell it?" I had to confess, and now I'm not sure my imp of Shub is safe to bring to the office.
And a little goes a long way. I just want to put this on and waft around in Shub-smelling goodness *FOR. EVER.*
