A tale of postal annoyance.

So, I go to pick up mail at my Aunt's today (I don't trust apartment complexes with BPAL, and P.O boxes don't call me the very second Lab orders arrive ;D). I got there early, before today's mail came. So we sat and talked until the postal dude came 'round. He had with him a box. Box? I wasn't expecting a box...

Not a clue what it was, I took it home and cracked it open. A care package! Bloody hell, the warm fuzzies.

Interesting thing, though: out of habit, I checked the DC number. It... did not arrive a few weeks ago (I forget the exact day now, and I'm too lazy to go look at the number again), as the DC number would have one believe. No, the postal man brought it to the door today.

I am quickly losing faith in the United States Postal System, but on the other hand, I love the people around here. THANK YOU(!), and I'm off to further drown in zee warm fuzzies.

chatter: postal hell
