reviews: snow moon, pink phoenix, red phoenix, three witches, come and see scents

I figured I'd do some reviews since I'm sniffing bottles and testing scents. I got my Anniversary order today and I did a boogie all night long knowing it was waiting for me when I got home.

In the bottle it's very pine and berries. It's a much stronger Snow Bunny to me. On my skin, it's the same way. Pine and berries and something crisp and cold underneath. The longer it's on, the more the berries come out and the pine fades which is a good thing. My head tends to hurt a bit with pine. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. It's a very intriguing scent that I have to keep sniffing. I think this means I'll be keeping it. Plus the boy likes it.

I got this because it sounded pretty, but the more reviews I read that compared it to Sugar Skull worried me. I don't do well with sugar scents. They tend to turn very plastic on my skin. It's pretty in the bottle, but a little too syrupy sweet. On my skin it's very pink with a hint of grape kool-aid. It's not plastic on my skin which is a nice change and it's very, very feminine. It's just not me at all. I don't think I'll be keeping this one which I'm sure will make fayemeadows very happy. ;)

I was hoping beyond hope that this would work well on me. It's full of stuff I love. It's pretty musky and sharp in the bottle, reminding me of Blood Moon. However, on my skin it's just not good. It's like Blood Moon mixed with liquid soap. It's not terrible the longer it's on, but it's not anything I want to keep at all. It kind of makes my eyes water. :/

I got an imp of the original Three Witches and completely fell in love. When it got re-released, I bought two bottles. And I really shouldn't have. The original loved my skin. It was all warm cinnamon and cloves - like a lighter version of Shub. This is actually a painful blend. It smells like burnt fried chicken with cloves at the beginning which is SO not what I want to smell like at all. It's slowly becoming something more like the original, but it's not a keeper at all. This is really upsetting. I wanted to have a steady supply of the scent I wanted most of all, but this is not that scent anymore. :(

It's very musky and musty in the imp. On my skin it's entirely too pale and entirely too lemony. I'm guessing that's the lime at work because there's not actually any lemon in it. It's not a bad scent at all, but it's nothing special. I'm going to take a pass on this one, but I'm glad I tried it.

Oranges and tobacco! This is such a really strong, beautiful scent. It's warm and full of depth. I'm not sure it's anything I need a full bottle of, but it's a really interesting scent.

Lavendar, sandlewood, vetiver and lemon peel. That's all I get from this one, then it fades. Lemons hate my skin and vetiver isn't something I'm very fond of either. Again, it's a really neat smelling scent, but it's one that does not like me at all.

Omg! This is heaven in a bottle. Seriously. It's warm and tasty. This is the first leather scent I've had that's worked on me. The leather and vanilla are obvious, but so is the cedar. Honestly, this is the most complex and interesting scent I think I've ever smelled from Beth and the gang. I'm in love with it and I've already snagged a bottle from hellfire82.
