How different is snake oil aged vs new?

I have a new bottle and I sorta like it but....

tell how it changes!

chatter: aging oils, scent: snake oil

It gets richer, thicker, better, yummier, and I think mine developed an almost fruit/wine-like note that I'm sure I've describing wrong, but it's just neat. It's really interesting. I thought "eh" no big deal when mine was new, but I appreciated it for the fact that it was soothing when I'm under stress, so I kept reaching for it 1x a month or so.

Now, (about a year later) it's *seriously* good and I wear it for yumms at least 3-5x/month.

Also, both new and old, it layers beautifully with almost everything. I especially like combining it with rose blends.

Yes, exactly what muppetk said. :)
It's much more intense. But I don't get a fruit or wine note from it.
My bottle is over 2.5 years old, it's gorgeous.

That's good to hear. I just ordered a bottle with the express purpose of letting it sit in a dark box for like three years.

:) Like I said, I'm sure I'm describing it (the wine note) wrong, but I can't think of a better way to describe it. Or maybe my chemistry is just that strange since it eats the fruit notes from everything else.

Mine got a little bit of a faint cherry candy/wine note, too!
