THE LION
BPAL's description:
The dry, glorious warmth of the Savannah. A golden, spiced amber, proud, regal and ferocious.

My review: Amber, myrrh, and clove straight on, Amber fades some on dry down and myrrh and clove stand out, fills the senses with spices, but not overpowering and could be unisex. Possibly a middle note of Amber, it seems to be a blending note between the myrrh and clove to make it smooth. Pleasantly fragrant if you like spicey scents, and it's uplifting. Fifteen minutes into drydown there's a sweetness from the cloves that's presented itself that I didn't expect. The Myrrh has quieted down to the background. I like this as a perfume, but I could see how some may see it as more of an incense smell or too much like cloves to wear. Twenty and lasting fragrance on me, Amber and sweet cloves with a hint of Myrrh. Quite nice.
Edit: someone asked me if it was a medicinal sweet cloves scent and I have to say No, it's definately not medicinal, it's like a "warm cloves" or honeyed cloves smell to me.
