Review - Numb

Feb 27, 2006 18:17

This was one of the first decants I bought off the AL community, and I knew nothing about it when I ordered it -- I was just in acquisition mode. Here were my first impressions:

Description: This is a limited edition, and I can't find the description anywhere. Not that I've looked that hard.
In the vial: Powdery and sweet.
On the wrist: Dry and aldehydic, with an undernote of a floral I can't pin down.
Dry: Way too sugary and powdery. If I were 80 years old and had no desire to ever have sex again, this would be an appropriate scent to wear.

A week or two later, though, when I was in the midst of monthly pain, I found myself longing for the comfort of this scent. Now it's become my go-to perfume when I feel wretched. I'm wearing it right now, see? It really is good for those times when you just feel (or want to feel) numb.

scent: numb, reviewer: merebrillante
