Winter swap package recieved!
Well, after writing that today was pretty much a wash (I went short on sleep playing Sims 2 last night and then woke up with a stomachache), I mosey-d on to get the mail and found...
My BPAL Winter Swap package from the lovely brandedeclipse!
Right at the top was a package of Sleepy Hollow soap from Arcana Soaps in a little black bag. It smells divine! There's also IA Soaps sample in "Lavachouli". There's an unnamed soap in a pretty Celtic Knot pattern that looks like it would lather up wonderfully! Then I spied a tiny silver bag, and further investigation revealed black and orange earrings, and tiny pink and white beaded earrings. I had to immediately grab a bottle of rubbing alcohol to try on the adorable pink and white ones! There was a Black Phoenix velvet bag with the infamous imp on it...I love those bags! How did she know I was wanting one to put my travel imps in for when I need to transfer them from one purse to another without digging through pockets to find them all? And there was a small jewelry box done up in a purple Asian pattern (purple is my favorite color). Inside was the cutest ivory-colored ring that fits perfectly on my pinky. Tucked under the soaps was a small brown cell phone charm with tiny kanji. I'll have to send a picture to my sister in Japan to see what they mean. :-P I immediately put it on my cell phone. And there were imps...!
I struggled with the bubblewrap, then spent a good minute slowly popping each bubble in retribution for keeping me away from the Precious. Turning to the baggie with the imps in it, I let out the loudest screech you could possibly imagine!
Circe has been on my wishlist for so long! I smelled it once at a Meet-n-Sniff, and fell in love, and have never found even a sniffy of it on the Forums or LJ. To find an imp of it in my swap package...WOW! And it smells just as wonderful as I remember it, and even better on. *Sighs in contentment* Also included was an imp of Swank (always a favorite!) and Absinthe, which has been on my wishlist almost as long as Circe has been! Absinthe makes me want to lick myself, but I have my nose glued to the wrist with Circe on. :-D
I had an inkling that brandedeclipse was my swap buddy when she commented on one of my public posts! Thank you so very much for the wonderful package...it turned my somewhat gloomy day around to a ecstatically-happy (and beautifully perfumed) day! I only hope that my swap buddy likes her package at least half as much as I enjoyed my package!
