A Big Thank You
I haven't been blogging much, it's been a round of work, staff shortages, insomnia and chasing builders for the past months. I should have moved in mid April, it's now almost the end of June and I'm still waiting to move in to my new place. It's made me feel like I am living in limbo and I got sick of moaning about it because I was starting to bore myself.
The other day I had an unexpected parcel arrive which turned out to be a BPALtruism parcel. It was stuffed with lovely little treats both permanent and transitory and it was a truly wonderful thing to receive.
When you're juggling a huge list of 'Stuff To Do' and 'Overdue Stuff To Do' that seems overwhelming, it's amazing what a cardboard box on your doorstep can bring to your whole week. Not just because it's a pleasant surprise but because it reminded me what a really amazing group of people BPALers are and that there are folk like
flameelf out there who go out of their way to make the world a nicer place to be.
