I've been inspired by some of the review notes here lately, so here are some of my own.
Phoenix Steamworks
Burnished gold and oiled bronze notes with Abramelin incense and sage.
The Steamworks tee is so beautiful, I decided to get it, and why not the Steamworks scent too? The incense note reminds me a little of And There Was a Great Cry in Egypt. The sage is hardly noticeable, but the metallic notes are very distinct.
Dorian
three pale musks and dark, sugared vanilla tea.
This is one of those scents I keep meaning to get more than one imp of! It is so light that I can wear it to work without creating problems for people who abhor perfume, and it is becoming one of my favorites.
I bought a bar of Dorian soap along with the Steamworks set...I can hardly wait to use it!
Dana O'Shee
milk, honey and sweet grains
I waited a long time to try this, because I was put off by the idea of the "milk" note. I put some on yesterday, and was amazed by how much it smells like Snow White. It doesn't smell distinctly like grain, milk, or honey to me, but it is a sweet, comforting scent.
Khajuraho
honey, date palm, tuberose, davana blossom, amber, white sandalwood, vanilla bean, Damask rose, and champaca flower.
The floral notes are very subtle on me. I love the vanilla and sandalwood combination. For me, this is a rich scent with many layers.
