Wow!
So...I came home from classes this evening and was ready to fall over. I drop my things in my room and glance at a strange package sitting on the chest by the door. "Hmmm," I think, trying to figure out what the heck it could be. I know the things I've ordered recently and I was almost 100% sure I'd not ordered anything from ebay in the last week or so. Curious. So, of course, I cut into the package, still trying to sort this mystery. I open the box and inside is a bunch of bubble wrap.
Curiouser and Curiouser.
I peek through it and shoot a text to dark_blade asking if she'd had anything sent to me because that can happen sometimes :) and she mentioned her nomination and I was like..."Woah wow, neato." So I go poking through the box that looks like one bubble-wrapped treasure chest and found the part with the card and read it and damn near started crying.
Of course, having just gotten home I had to let the contents of the other packages wait for a bit so I could find out about my daughter's day at school and things like that. But after a bit I sat down and started going through all of it and it was like a super treasure adventure.
You guys, I have no idea how to say "thank you" because a simple "thank you" doesn't seem enough. Today has been a very rough day and opening this package was a damned fantastic highlight to it. I kept making little squee sounds or giggling and it was just a ton of fun and there were so many neat things that I can't wait to try them! Of course, my mom and my daughter were curious about what was going on, too!
I was completely blown away both by the surprise and the amazingly special and obviously time-involved gifts. Thank you so very, very much!
