Frustration
(cross posted to Sin & Sal but I've rewritten since I'm all irked at myself)
Ever have one of those stupid few days?
*headdesk* I totally missed Long Night Moon's update. I'm so mad at myself! I had to wait till Friday for a transfer to go through so I could order, then my internet (I have cable internet) was out for the entire afternoon.
It really turned into one of those days and things kept snowballing... I had stomach issues all day, was very cross at the boyfriend for something he couldn't help (his ex wife decided to call him in the morning and tell him she would be about 4 hours late to pick up their son for her weekend with him so we had to alter plans we made in the beginning of the week- she had no reason not to call earlier other than to try and be inconveniencing), ran out of hot water in the shower since the landlord upstairs decided to start using hot water at the same time, found another load of laundry to toss through when I thought I was all done, Still didn't have cable at 5 PM (it went out sometime after 10 and before 2:10), got behind on a few projects I needed the internet for and can't really log on at a public computer to complete, almost got stuck in the driveway, and lost my debit card.
By the time things smoothed out it was around 10 PM or so. Things were ok, really. Turns out the boyfriend had my debit card (fell out in his truck on the day prior), laundry got done, missed our movie for the entire weekend but had fun anyway, and my car wasn't really stuck, just sort of stuck.
I went to bed late, and had internet- but totally spaced ordering the update. I left really early in the morning so I could get to the AFN craft fair and find something good to mail my Grandfather for his 93rd (or so) birthday. We got stuff done too. I had such a lovely day I entirely didn't use the internet for any great purpose until tonight really.
I forgot to order!!!
Hopefully I can find a Sagittarius bottle that someone doesn't like since that was a birthday gift for one of my best friends back East since she's a wicked Sag and would love it.
The other two are totally just me things. Long Night Moon since I live in eternal winter darkness up here, and Ivanushka since I love furry musk scents. The woods and dry leaves part of Ivanushka sound so nice and remind me of late fall/early winter before the snow starts to come down back in New Hampshire. I miss that since we don't really get much of it up here. The snow already started falling a few weeks ago.
So blah. Apparently I suffered from The Dumb this past week. I hope I can get bottles once they start shipping. =( I'm not even trying for the Long Night Moon teeshirt. I should save my pennies, and I really don't need another tee- but it's so cool and thematic for Alaska! *sigh*
