I had a little internal monologue last night, after I discovered the bottle of Zarita the Doll Girl that the lovely
nabiki had for sale. It should sound familiar to many of you ...

IBM: But this one little wee one more is only seven dollars, it's just a partial....c'mon! A partial.
FG: No!
IBM: We can swap it later....
FG: No!
IBM: We have those unloved imps we could sell....build up the Paypal...
FG: Well....maybe if we only spend what we get from selling. Only.

I am putting a monthly dollar limit on the bpal starting June. For serious. not including what I get from selling, and there's always swapping

Oh yes, that sounds very familiar. Right down to the "it's only a partial and an inexpensive one at that, one more won't hurt", and "you've got all these unloved imps to sell that'll bulk up your PayPal, go onnnnn...do it!". I've been attempting spending limits, but it keeps promptly flying out the window, helped this month by the fact I got unexpectedly given some money as a gift, and thus it's not really spending money, right? ^_^;;
And just so you know? The feedback you left me made me blush. You're too nice. <3

(my BPAL addiction started with an unexpectedly large tax return....and now I really have to budget because I have gone through my 'can burn this much' cash)

(And I think mine started whilst I was working last summer, and hence had some extra money to spend. Which doesn't quite carry through to term time where I'm focusing on my studies and hence don't have a job right this moment.)
