There she goes again ...

I had a little internal monologue last night, after I discovered the bottle of Zarita the Doll Girl that the lovely nabiki had for sale. It should sound familiar to many of you ...

Inner BPAL Maniac: ZARITA! ^_^
Practical Self: Now, wait just a minute. We have two bottles arriving from the Lab tomorrow. Do you honestly think we need more BPAL?
IBM: ( Read more... )

FG: Just look at all the Paypal direct withdrawals from the checking account!
IBM: But this one little wee one more is only seven dollars, it's just a partial....c'mon! A partial.
FG: No!
IBM: We can swap it later....
FG: No!
IBM: We have those unloved imps we could sell....build up the Paypal...
FG: Well....maybe if we only spend what we get from selling. Only.
[two weeks later is obvious we have totally blown that rule]

I am putting a monthly dollar limit on the bpal starting June. For serious. not including what I get from selling, and there's always swapping

*eyes PayPal and the amount she's sent today* *facepalm*

Oh yes, that sounds very familiar. Right down to the "it's only a partial and an inexpensive one at that, one more won't hurt", and "you've got all these unloved imps to sell that'll bulk up your PayPal, go onnnnn...do it!". I've been attempting spending limits, but it keeps promptly flying out the window, helped this month by the fact I got unexpectedly given some money as a gift, and thus it's not really spending money, right? ^_^;;

And just so you know? The feedback you left me made me blush. You're too nice. <3

I'm too nice? You drew a cute little bat-ball on the label for Count Dracula!! <3<3<3 So nifty!!

(my BPAL addiction started with an unexpectedly large tax return....and now I really have to budget because I have gone through my 'can burn this much' cash)

Eh-heheh... And it's a sign of my perfectionist artist self that said little bat-ball went through multiple stages of sketching before I allowed myself to draw it on the label. X'D

(And I think mine started whilst I was working last summer, and hence had some extra money to spend. Which doesn't quite carry through to term time where I'm focusing on my studies and hence don't have a job right this moment.)

LOL! Haven't really gotten into the swapping/selling much yet....and when I have I just end up sending WAY more than what the person purchased....(I DO love a happy swapmate/purchaser, I do!). Sigh....

FG: Enabling is my weakness, I keep decanting and giving stuff away, I gotta quit, this stuff is too expensive.

IBM: But I like to share the love!

Yup! I just got my Monsterbait Underpants (-1 imp) and I keep looking at it and thinking...."I could make so many people happy with this"....and then trying to remember how much I spent for it.....EEP!!!! Hey...did the Underpants come with a critter originally? Because the one I just got was sent in a critter and I don't know if that's how it originally came or if the seller made it.
Either way its a really cute/weird little thing that I quite like! Yibbedy is the name on her little painted name tag.
