I knew I had to get an imp of this after smelling a bottle belonging to
rewil. It just smelled so wonderful.
Wet/in the imp: Green and floral. It's the scent of grassy fields with tulip beds.
On the skin: At first I was freaking out. "Omigod, this smells like...like Vagisal!" I kid you not, the floral note came out quick on my skin and it smelled like the scent they use for yeast infection cream/"feminine protection" pads. I was about to cry, because I want to love this scent.
Drydown: Thankfully, that icky smell went away after drying completely and it became the fresh green scent again. After a hour, it smelled like a sun lit field.
This is my obligatory sunshine scent. It smells of amber goodness with spice. Not like Old Spice icky spice or spice cabinet spice.
Wet: amber, golden plains, and spice. Very regal.
On skin: The spice kicks up a notch, blending with the amber. Yum.
Drydown: I call this my "pounce" scent, because I can't help but think of lionesses on the hunt with this scent. Seen "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe"? Know the part where you see Aslan backlit by the sun? Oh yeah, that is what this scent is.
I bought this on description and name alone. The Muses have always been of interest, and Terpischore is the Whirler.
Wet/in bottle: floral. The carnation and sweet pea are the top notes, with the creaminess of vanilla. There is something sharp in the background, maybe neroli.
On skin: Still floral. Not like Flower Moon floral. The apple blossom note comes out, but the carnation and sweet pea is still strong.
Drydown: This mellows into a pretty, soft floral with the creaminess of vanilla. Boy howdy does this have stay power too! If you like carnation, then this is a scent for you.
