(no subject)
Dear Dad,
Yesterday I knew exactly how to write this letter, but today it seems harder. Why? I have no idea. Maybe it's because life is changing constantly and that what we find important one day isn't really the next? Anyway, I didn't mean to get all phylosophical I was mostly writing to get some news from you and give you some from me and Dex.
We are still in Greece and are getting prepared to take his grandparent's boat out. I'm quite nervous about it since it's the first time I'll get on a yatch and I'm afraid I might be seasick (Not really a good thing when you want to.. nevermind). So far we're having a nice trip and most of my fears about metting his family are gone. Mr Clearwater and Dex doesn't have a nice relationship and he seems quite happy that Dex is going to leave the manor to live with me. At the first sight, I didn't know what to think of Mrs Clearwater, but after we had lunch I find myself liking her. I know it's weird and I can't explain it, but I really don't mind her.
Something Dex had forgotten to tell me, was the rest of the family. All overly cheerful people (quite like Mrs Longbottom) who like Dex very much. He has tons of cousins (that I knew nothing about) and it makes me quite scared for the wedding. What appeared to be a small and intimate wedding will probably be a 'Big fat Greek wedding'. I'm relieved Mrs Clearwater didn't criticize what arrangement are already done and accepted to let me have it classy but simple.
Which reminds me that I need to tell you that you (along with Angelina, Venus and Artemise) will be thrilled to know that we now have a carterer who doesn't mind having a vegeterian menu! The man's food is delicious, simple, light and fresh. For a summer wedding, nothing's better.
I had other news to give you, but I don't think it would be appropriate to write it in a letter. I think that you and I will need to have a talk when I get back. I don't want to hide anything from you anymore and since you are my father I think it is important that you know. Don't panic though, it's nothing bad..

PS I was planning on bringing something back for Venus and Luca, but I realize that i have no idea what they would like.. do you?
