I continue to explore the terrain of planet Orkut, finding strange, yet oddly familiar creatures along the way. One of these unusual beings bore a strong resemblance to what some people have come to know as
Gina. If you are a resident of Orkut and wish me to subscribe to your newsletter, feel free to add me.

Proving once again that nothing beats diplomacy and rational argument, John "Mustache Pete" Bolton makes it clear that we will attack Iran to get what we want. Because that, of course, worked out so well the last two times we did it.

For those of you who have student loans with Texas Guaranteed, you might want to check into this: A third party software vendor lost data on 1.3 million borrowers. This came out much the same day as my man Bob Sullivan's discussion about how bringing your work home can lead to security risks. It's well worth reading, especially the comments on American culture and work ethics. I know I'd get a shit ton more done if I didn't have to sit through interminable meetings and answer e-mails.

The greatest blog in the world is Captain Picard's Journal. I defy you to read that and not get your inner Trekker on as you play "Spot the Episode Reference." :)

From the "AMERICA!!!! FUCK YEAH!!!!" department: Marc Guggenheim, who's off to a fairly good start as the writer of the "Civil War" arc in "Wolverine," is going to be the writer on a new "Blade" comic. Between this and the new TV show, who needs Wesley Snipes? :)

Much of my day has been spent thinking up terrifying ideas for Requiem slash fic at the behest of Gina and
Abbi. There are dinosaurs, snakes with spikes, Austin Powers, and virtually every Requiem PC you can think of involved.

I know some very strange people.
