Everyone's a critic
Back in October my sister had her junior opera recital. My mother insisted it would be kid friendly. After spending the day with my mom and Finn planning, buying and prepping the reception afterward we headed off to UT for the concert... My sister's teacher knew kids would be in attendance and planned some special kid friendly opera LOL
Finn had the potential to be very well behaved but before the concert while I was setting up he was nabbed by his young cousins (ages 6, 8, and 10) not really the best group to keep him calm before sitting down to a 45 min performance... needless to say he was hyped up when the singing began.
Samantha got through the 1st set of songs, the German music and had moved on to her 2nd of 5 sets which were the French operas. Finn would not sit with me. Instead he was on a row alone with his cousins. All of whom were acting like 3, 6, 8, and 10 year old kids.
Finn clearly was unhappy having to sit still and quiet in the theater so he kicked up his feet on the chair in front of his laid back and began to cartoon snore. I managed to not leap across the theater and kill him.
My sister got extra points for managing to keep her focus and continue performing despite all of the interruptions. Heh
