Both, at first. Humans created my kind, to be shock troops in a war. We were taught to treat them as just barely lower than gods, but we've learned the truth over the years.

I can't say I'm glad or upset, really; it's just what I am, and there's nothing that can be done to change it.

I... once followed a god. She left the world, along with the rest of them, five years ago.
