Feanor is behaving only for the time being. He is plotting. And it all goes horribly wrong at some point and I shall have to write a Vignette about THAT now that you've given me the idea, damn you! :P But, yeah, he's happy enough to be pottering on boats and learning lots about the rest of the world and seeing what jewels, engineering techniques and magicks he can pick up from lands foreign and strange. :P He's also secretly hoping he can advance up the ranks (not yet realising his way is forever blocked by those who know that if the were in charge of a ship or even a whole fleet of them it would be a Very Bad Idea Indeed). Besides which - getting drunk and then trying to slice your own ear off is hardly 'behaving'. :P Jack is Not Impressed at such behaviour. He should just be thankful Celebrimbor wasn't on board as well - it would have been handbags at dawn then. lol!
Glad you enjoyed it all! :D And, yeah, definitely read some Aubreyad ASAP. You won't regret it.
