Great White kicked our arse last night!! Jarrod and I had a real fun time. The opening group Phoenix or as they are know throughout Detroit PHX was very good and they had a cool look as well. Derrick
the drummer for GW  wasn't there they had a very young drummer to fill in for him. Being that I have never drummed in my life I asked Jarrod (who has drumming experience) what he thought of the guy filling in. He said that he thought he did an excellent job. The pic is one of Derrick Pontier GW drummer; I have chatted with him at a few gig's he is genuinely a great person.

The opening of Great White's set was mired in terrible feed back. Now normally if the sound isn't right within the first few minutes of the show, Jack is pissed and usually walks off the stage over to the sound board and fixes it himself! Last night he was much more jovial about the whole quagmire! I could see that he was quite annoyed but it was remedied and the show got off to a very good beginning after the sound was fixed. I got a drum stick and the set list from the concert last night. The following is a copy directly from the bands print out I obtained off the floor right in front of Jack Russell's mic stand.

1. Call It Rock N Roll 2. Face The Day 3. Save Your Love 4. Paradise (Jack's Solo CD-For You) 5.Rooster (MarkKendall's Solo CD-2.0) 6.Mistabone 7. Rock Me 8. Can't Shake It 9. Rollin' Stoned 10. Rock Me 11. Wasted Rock Ranger 12. Once Bitten Twice Shy

I had the distinct pleasure of being at the stage directly in front of Mr. Russell! Some of my personal highlights were as follows. Jack leaned on my shoulder and sang part of Rollin' Stoned with me. I was able to sing directly into the mic, a "Once Bitten Twice Shy" stanza. I don't smoke cigarettes, but when the lead singer of your absolute favorite Rock band offers you his Kool half smoked cig you take him up on the offer. Well at least that's what I did! ;0) I had me some drinks and I was feelin' my way, if ya know what I'm sayin'  Their was some absolutely fine looking ladies that I and Mr. Adams were surrounded by! Jarrod and myself got to high five Jack and I patted him on his foot a couple times. If those of you who are reading this are not familiar with the Rhode Island fire that transpired at the show that night, then you have no idea what these guys have gone through. I know that I can't possibly fathom what they have been through. They lost 99 fans and their guitar player Ty Longley
(Pic on right side); but they have raised over $100,000 for the relief fund that was set up for the survivors and their families. Won't you consider supporting them? Do whatever you can here. http://www.stationfamilyfund.org/

Here is a handful of pic's from last night. Enjoy! I already did!!!
