christmas morning!

Go Christians! I'm not sure that I fit into that category, but just in case. I hope everyone reading this post had a wonderful Christmas. If you are not, then you can have a decent Christmas, but I just can't give you as much credit as those valiant and enduring readers of my journal. Sorry to say.

I had a jolly one. See my stepmother and I don't get along. We are on speaking terms, but even that is limited to greeting each other and speaking only when the utmost necessity calls for it. It's a shame, in fact, but it's a long story and I won't bore you with details. However, this Christmas we were able to crack through our shells and treat each other like family members. That was the best Christmas present I could have gotten.

Besides that, however, I did get some crazy stocking stuffers. I will now switch to my materialistic being and proceed to describe what I received. So if you have a problem with us possession-driven fiends and would rather be listening to your Fiona Apple collection, then stop reading and go on to her ranting... So here goes...

1) NAPOLEON DYNAMITE DVD!!! Holy crap!!! That movie is the shit. I am so enlove with it. My stepsister thinks I look like him. Whatever.
2) BOOKS!!! Yes!!! Two more to my collection, and the first psychology book I have ever owned. The first stepping stone to begin a library of psychology texts. Sooo exciting.
3) USB Memory Card!!! 256 MB!!! Again, thumbs up to the parentals for such a cool gift.
4)Brand new winter jacket!!! Really needed that, now I can stop looking like I am an obese kid with the enormously puffy apparatus I used to wear.
5) Franz Ferdinand and Miles Davis!!! A nice mix if I may say so myself.
6) MONEY!!! Saving it for a trip to France over the summer. Oh joy!

Anyway, that's about it and now I am out. Let me tell you, though, it has been a ride. Hope all of you cats and kittens have a wonderful New Year's. Don't die on me doing something crazy, unless I'm with you and we can go down together.
