Tim's date with Momoko had gone really well, even though he'd had to lie to her a few times to keep his secret identity under wraps. Which reminded him that he was going to have to tell Batman that Superboy knew his real name now. Bruce wouldn't be happy about that, but what could he do? Letting Kon call him "Al" would be more of a security risk

Peter peeked his head in the door after a short knock.

"Agent Drake, it's time for your debriefing," he said.

He then pulled a face. "Okay, that just doesn't sound right."

"Not when you say it like that," Tim agreed, sitting up. "How's it going, Agent Bishop?"

[theotherpeter]

"Not as good as you," Peter said, smirking. "I heard on the radio that someone had a date with a certain redhead. Just so you know, that may lead to her sucking out your soul. Apparently."

"Soul sucking? Who says?" Tim asked.

[theotherpeter]

Peter finally made his way into the room proper, leaving the door open. "Professor Farnsworth," Peter said. "I got relayed his very important lecture about the dangers of gingers. By Dana and Claudia, card-carrying members of the Redhead Conspiracy."

He was very serious. Please ignore the smirk on his face as he talked.

"What? They ratted out their own kind?" Tim smiled.

"I think it was an intimidation thing," Peter said, finally letting out a chuckle. "That or they were letting me know what happens when you kiss a redheaded which might have been some sort of hint or something."

He scratched at his scruff on his cheek. "That wouldn't be so bad, really."

"Yeah?" Tim smiled. "Which one were you thinking of?"

"I have to pick?" Peter said, grinning. "I actually went on a date with Claudia once. It was pretty nice, but I dunno, not exactly wanting to go steady with anyone."

"One at a time is more traditional, but hey, if they're up for it, I'm not going to judge," Tim said. "Much."

"Isn't that, like, every guy's dream?" Peter asked, wondering if Tim thought the same way.

"Not every guy," Tim said.

Peter shrugged again. "Don't think it'd ever happen, any way." He chuckled again. "So, how'd it go yesterday?"

"Went well," Tim said. "We went to Cafe Fina. The disembodied hands were a bit weird, but I like her a lot."

"Yeah, those things kind of creeped me out," Peter said. "Not to mention I gave myself a headache trying to figure out how they knew where they were going."

He shrugged again, now easily able to accept the idea that some things defied explanation. "But cool, and glad to hear it. I don't really know her, myself, so I'll assume she has to be pretty good."

"Yeah, they understood what we were saying. I was trying to figure out how they could hear," Tim said.
