Football update
Liverpool is just about to kick off against a visiting Portsmouth team. The Reds are definitely favorites for this. Unfortunately, I'm not going to see it because I'm waiting for the heating and air man to come back and fix my heat.
Last Wednesday saw a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid; a late equalizer preventing a Liverpool win.
And then on Sunday, the big one. Liverpool traveled to Stamford Bridge, in North London, to play Chelsea, with whom they were tied at the top of the League. And what a game it was. And what an atmosphere at the Brewhouse - singing, drinking. Liverpool supporters in one room, Chelsea supporters in the other. And at the end of the game, there was just one room singing - and they were wearing red! Liverpool went top of the table!
So today's game is against Portsmouth, and then on Saturday we play bottom of the table Spurs at 1:30. I shall be at the Brewhouse. Hope to see some of you there!
