Whacking off
It's amazing how much better the Weed Whacker will whack weeds when the battery is fully charged.
Unfortunately, it doesn't take too long to drain the battery when one is having good whackin' time.
Nevertheless, my back yard is looking better. Well, half of it is looking better.
The thing about discovering a poorly charged weed whacker battery is that you have to do something while the battery is charging.
So it was off to the Brewhouse to watch Arsenal vs Newcastle. Unfortunately Keegan's men could not repeat their feat against Man U, and went down 3-0 to the Gunners. Quite disappointing, really.
Oh, and it's amazing how quiet Live Journal is when everyone is at Dragon Con. Yes, I know I should be there, too. But I'm not.
Tomorrow, Liverpool goes to Birmingham to play Aston Villa. This is going to be a tough game. The Reds have not been playing well, even though they have eked out three victories so far this season (two Premiership, one Champions League). Eleven o'clock at the Brewhouse. I'll be sporting the new away jersey.
Oh - complaint time. What is it with the gas pumps that have slowed down? It takes the same time to get to $15 as when gas was $1.50 a gallon. This is ridiculous. There is no reason for pumps to reduce the speed/pressure with the increase in price. That just exacerbates the pain.
Okay, off to have a shower and then to the Standard!
