We were in love but now we're dead

She lied to me and now she lies
here
She drank charcoal and now I burn
her body
She slept all day and now she sleeps
deeper and deeper
She always wanted to dig her way to China and now
she's halfway there

But I am here

YOU THERE! Alive- why aren't you
kicking

I am the dead one here
in the cold solitude

He always preferred to be alone in the quiet and now
he is alone above my grave talking

He played guitar like he was being checked
into a pych ward against his will and now
he plays in his head in the city of Mutes

AND NOW AND NOW AND NOW

I lie here-a fool
no music no love no life

Dead I am, it was my choice

And now I have vibrations from footsteps like
organ pipes in the tiniest of chambers

And I am surrounded by life
tiny, minuscule life
six-legged life

And I am jealous of you,
Centipede
