I managed to get to my Constellation Awards meeting only about ten minute late this afternoon (after staying up until 4 or 4:30 playing schedule Jenga again... but as far as I know, we've managed to avoid scheduling anyone against any events they want to see or take part in :) ). Following the meeting, a group of us went to the Starbucks at Church and Shuter... and ran into Robert Picardo (the doctor on "Star Trek: Voyager", in case anyone doesn't recognize the name).
gurudata said hello, and mentioned that a group of us from the convention formerly known as Toronto Trek were there - apparently he remembered us fondly. (He was a guest at Toronto Trek 10 - 12 years ago.)
The weird thing: he was wearing a Stargate: Atlantis t-shirt, as though he'd just come from shopping in a convention dealers' room. :)
I assume he's filming something here, though the only thing his IMDb profile lists that's currently in production is an animated film on the Cassini mission.
