just finished cecelia ahern's 'there's no place like home' (in 3 hours!) and i swear to god, there's no other writers that make me sob like a fucking baby while reading their books. and it wasn't a sad book (well, not so much anyway), it's such a weird genre...it's neither thriller nor chick lit nor romance - just a mix of themes of losing, hoping and giving up that made the book so good. i can't really explain it. i thought only 'p.s. i love you' would have that kind of effect on me, but 'there's no place like home' is really really good.
i am probably gonna keep this book selfishly close to heart.
