Well.
A lot can happen in a week.
I'm just glad it's all over. For the better.

I was helping Neeks make motions for the Mini-Mock (I still think
calling it an Intravarsity is cooler, but whatever) and I decided to
put my almost-expertise in world business and finance to good
use. I was aiming for a set of motions that wouldn't offer any
obvious, safe choice but would force people to think long and hard
about their vetoes and their strategy in the debate. I always
associate those kinds of motions with Australs, my favorite tournament.
Not sure if it worked out that way for the debaters, but I like the motions I came up with.
Theme: Windang
1. This house would sanction nations that harbor and obstruct the recovery of ill-gotten wealth.
2. This house would impose a global tax on Big Pharma to fund research on Third World diseases.
3. This house believes that the First World should fund the
creation of a body to facilitate the remittances of migrant workers
back home.

So I woke up at 5:30 am on Friday to shoot our MTV Christmas Party video (yes, my office is that perky,
thank you HR) and we spent two hours basking in the morning sunlight on
the rooftops of Makati dancing to the music of "She Works Hard for the
Money" by Donna Summers. In full costume - there were people
dressed as hookers, French maids, pimps, Chippendale dancers, nuns,
aerobics instructors, plumbers, etc. I was dressed as an
elementary student (think Tolits). I got off easy.
My other shots in the video involve being spanked by the French maid
and getting injected in the ass by a doctor (played by my mom's college
classmate) while my pants were down. If you're thinking that
sounds pervy, wait til you see the video.
And I'm hosting the Christmas Party too. Oh Lord.
