I feel like if I change my major, I am letting people down.

I dont want to be a nurse anymore, I want to major in criminal justice...

But people who major in criminal justice dont get good paying jobs (One girl my sis knows majored in criminal justice and now she works in a tanning salon)

I dont know what to do...

Advise anyone?

its called determination. they dont get good paying jobs because they don't put they're schooling to work. i have plenty of friends going to school for criminal justice and they are doing just fine. keep yer head up. do what makes YOU happy and what YOU want to do with the rest of yer life. who cares if you have a job that doesnt make a lot of money. i'd rather have a job i LOVE to be at and not make so much, then be somewhere i dread going to everyday for the rest of my life. hence why i am going to be a teacher. :)

i think maybe you should consider what you really want to do. and then think about a major from there. and as far as that criminal justice thing, i thaught those people were mostly like cops and people who were working to get to their pre law degree and things of that nature.
