6: waiting
I waited, I waited as long as I could. I saw Aerith, and she seemed okay for a while, but then....not so much. I imagine she'll talk to you about it the next time...next time. I also talked to the man by the name of Highwind, and a new person named Kadaj, I think. Neither seem like bad people. I can't think of them in a certain way just because of a certain thing. We all star the same way, don't we? I spoke to a girl named Selphie who indulged me in a game of spinning at the bar counter and I even saw Demyx for a bit....met a cowboy too.
But in the end I left, had to, wandered looking for a cheap room, but for some reason they're all booked solid...even the really bad ones. So I took the flyer right outside of Alexandria, and am using the keycoding pad in its console to connect here. Weird that this always works, even when the flyer itself won't fly properly fifty percent of the time!
I did wait, and I looked. I'm hoping everything turns out alright and pushing doubts away as best I can for the night.
The stars are very vivid...silver-white, this evening. And it's still cold, but it'll be fine. I'm really bad at finding things in general, I realize, but....I'm especially bad at finding people. I'll start searching again tomorrow. Or maybe he'll find me.
Sometimes that's how it happens, if I remember.
I just don't know...but maybe sleep will help. These dreams I'm having....they make me uneasy. I'm not sure if they're of real things, or not...a future or a past. I hadn't shared this with anyone before....not even the one I was looking for...they never seeemed that important. But I guess when a person feels separated or alone, those things can start to look more significant.
I guess.
Either way, I'm hoping for the best in all ways...for all people of Sanzensekai.
And selfishly, I want to know why he didn't show up. The first time we'd see each other in.... too long... and...nothing. Really, I just hope he's okay, that nothing happened, that he didn't get 'caught up' like Kadaj seemed to keep hinting at...whatever that was.
As long as they're all safe, as long as he's safe...
I'll sleep with that in mind.
