And now, have some thoughts about Doctor Who. Thoughts that followed immediently after watching the first episode of the seventh season/series/whatever.
I'm still not impressed.
In fact, I'm just kind of resigning myself to really just not care about this season. Especially if the rest of it is going to be like this one.
I love all of them; I love Matt Smith (I lovelovelove him), Karen Gillian and Arthur Duvall. I adore them completely. But the Amy and Rory story keeps on going, even when it ENDED. And it feels lie it is continously beig forced back into the show because hey look, it's popular and you know, Rose lasted a long time! And she came back!
Except with Rose it made sense, and it worked, and here it just doesn't.
I love the idea of Matt Smith's Doctor. I love him. I don't give a shit about David Tenant and "WOW HE WAS SO MUCH BETTER" because that's bullshit. Bullshit in the way that's similar to me saying "Well, I like the ninth doctor compared to the tenth" and being told "well, that's different; they're different doctors/people."
I am just done with the stupid Weeping Angels. I am angry at the way that the Daleks turned out. I am angry at most everything about this show, and how it's written and how annoyed I am with every single fucking character.
