Doctor Who Review 6x01 Sorry, it's kind of everywhere
I really, really, liked this episode. Be warned; this si spread out a lot. I'm horrible with keeping things in uh, order when reviewing, I've found.
Honestly, I mostly focused on the fact that MARK SHEPPARD is in this now. Can I get anymore excited? No, I can not.
But this just made my love for River Song grow. She's wondrous and a character I love completely. She's showing to have wonderful character development, and there is such depth to her. I love it.
But I'm also a bit confused. Because I was pretty sure that Rory was still kind of a robot? Is he still one by the time series 6 starts? Because they made a mention to it in the Christmas Special.
Anyway, it starts off with the Doctor blatantly wandering around the Earth's history and he Pond's making fun of it, esstianally. It's rather amusing, as Rory puts a film on, and the Doctor waves them while wearing a fez. Bless, you, my dear. You're so adorable.
They get a notice and end up in America, where he's laying on top of the car with a hat and I lol'd. A cowboy hat. You're so cute.
River shoots his hat off, and they have a lovely picnic.
AND THEN WHAT WAS WITH THE SPACE PERSON SHOOTING HIM MID-REGENERATION? I DO NOT LIKE THIS. AT ALL. But I had a theory; hat maybe it was the past River andshe shot him? I unno. It would make sense.
No, no it wouldn't. Never mind. And then that thing. It wasn't an ood. I wanted it to be, and Jess thought it was, but it wasn't.
It actually reminded us of Slender Man so she was freaking out and I was laughing like a mad man.
ANYWAY. They find the numberone envelope and it's the Doctor, two hundred years younger. Wait, did I mention the envelopes? They all got envelopes. And they were numbered according to who he trusted most. And by "he" I mean the Doctor, obviously. He trusted himself the most. There, all done. GOod.
NOW. His past self is all I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE THAT SOMEONE IS SUMMONING ME TO THAT I DON'T KNOW. And the three f them are like TOO DAMN BAD DO IT ANYWAY. RIver pretty miuch bullies/guilt trips him into it, doesn't she? I dun remember. But whatevs, yo.
They go back to 1969, in the oval office, to uh, what's his face. Whoever Mark Sheppard plays. I'm just going to call him Mark Sheppard. BecauseI was too excited to catch his name whenever it was said lololololol
BUT THE IDEA. OH MY GOD. THE ALIENS YOU CAN ONLY REMEMBER BY LOOKING AT THEM. That si such a good concept. Like, a lot.
And the little girl. COOOOOL.
And Mark was all IT'S BIGGER ON THE INSIDE WTF. And then he got over it fast. It was funny. I laughed.
Uhhhh.. Um. AMY SHOOTS SPACE MAN WHO IS REALLY THE LITTLE GIRL? After revealing she's pregnant.
ALSO; DOCTOR WHO TUMBLR ADS. THE BEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN.
Moving on. Uh, hat else? Oh, maybe the uh, um, little girl is really the ship? Jess pointed out that the last ship we saw like that used holograms to lure people, so maybe it's he same thing?
I don't know. I can't wait to see the next episode.
